It is a relatively large temple opposite Samsung Station. It is the representative temple of Seoul and its history is over 1000 years. Bongeunsa is said to have been founded in 794 (Wonseong King 10) as the banquet state. It is said that the temple was built in the tomb of Seongjong, which was called the Bongeunsa Temple.
